Pets and Service Animals
Pets are defined as dogs, cats and domestic birds. LIAT will accept pets for carriage in the aircraft checked baggage compartment only. Prior notice of at least twenty-four hours must be given to LIAT for the carriage of pets. Transportation of pets require import/export licenses and veterinary clearances
Fees
Pets (Domesticated animals) Cats, Dogs, Birds:
Up to 50lbs when weighed in the approved ICAO kennel: USD 100.00
Pets (Domesticated animals) Cats, Dogs, Birds:
From 51-70lbs when weighed in the approved ICAO kennel: USD 150.00
All charges are calculated on a one-way basis and must be collected on check-in. Connecting to/from other airlines will also be subject to the connecting airline's charges in addition to the LIAT charges.

How much does it cost to travel with my pet?
Live animals are carried at a charge of USD50.00 per container.
What size carrier do I need for my pet?
Your pet's container/kennel must not exceed 26" length x 24" width x 36" height.
If I am traveling with a pet, can I book my reservation online?
The number of pets allowed in the cargo compartment is subject to space availability, therefore, you must contact LIAT directly at [email protected]. or the LIAT call centre at 888-844-5428 to book your reservation when traveling with a pet.
The transportation of pets would need to be handled via our cargo departing if they are being transported in the baggage hold. Requests to travel with service animals need to be channeled via our customer relations department. They may be contacted via email [email protected] or via 1-268-480-5634.
