Pets
Small pets are permitted (subject to certain restrictions) year round inside the aircraft cabin.
Pets are permitted on a seasonal basis and must be in an airline approved hard-sided crate. All pets fly in the cargo section of the plane and for this reason they are NOT accepted from October 15 to April 15 due to the colder temperatures. Pets are charged a fee of CAD 70 plus tax one way. Contract of Carriage - Live Animals
Live animals will be accepted for transportation, provided that;
Advance arrangements are made,
They are harmless, inoffensive, odourless and will require no attention in transit,
They are properly caged in an appropriate animal kennel, that provides protection, comfort and is escape-proof.
The size of such kennel allows it to be stowed safely aboard the aircraft on which it is being transported,
The weight of the animal and kennel be subject to the charge for excess weight regardless of the weight of other baggage presented by the passenger.
Special Needs Assistance and Pets
Bearskin Airlines offers a number of services for passengers with special needs. The identification of your special needs at the time of booking will ensure we best meet your requirements. Our customer service agents will gladly describe services available and make the appropriate arrangements. Passengers should arrive early at the airport to allow extra time for check-in and boarding.
Passengers with special needs are also able to book flights online. After making a booking, we encourage you to contact our Reservation Centre and quote your reference number so we can confirm the service you require.
Service animals
Certified, professionally trained service animals which are assisting customers with disabilities are carried, free of charge in the passenger cabin at the customer's feet.
